Molly’s brother plays for the Redville Saints and Hudson is one of his teammates. Not only didn’t they get off to the best start, but it hasn’t gotten any easier. Keeping their distance seems like the best plan but things never unfold as you expect, and they now find themselves trying to deal with an impromptu marriage that neither wants but that no one else can know about as well.
Hudson hasn’t been able to forget his first meeting with Molly or the difficulties it causes with the team. Since then, instead of things improving they seem to be going downhill. When he finds himself unexpectedly married to her their first impulse is to end it but the more they learn about each other the more they second guess that decision.
The interactions between them are humorous as they know exactly what to do and say to get a reaction from each other. As Molly begins to open up to him, he is supportive and protective as he shows her that she can count on him to be there for her.
