After his career as a bull rider came to an end, he found a place to call home at Magnolia Ranch.   He was enjoying his single life and preferred to keep his relationships casual but when Ruth comes into his life, she has him wanting things he never expected.

Ruth has found a sense of contentment and fulfillment when it comes to the people at the ranch as well as her work with the horses.   She may have feelings for Sawyer, but she also believes that her time at the ranch may be limited and she must choose between the life she wants and the life others want her to have.

The chemistry between Sawyer and Ruth was never in question however both were cautious when it came to the emotional connection between them.   Everyone in their lives knew they belonged together and I enjoyed seeing them realize it as well.
