Roman is the veteran goalie for the Toronto Terror who is in the final year of his career. He has devoted his life to his daughter however she is now an adult and in love with his best friend and teammate. The team has recently hired a new assistant coach but the surprise is on him when he finds out she is the woman he spent a weekend with three years ago and hasn’t been able to forget.
Alexandria is excited about this opportunity as she is the first woman coach in the league. She is balancing a lot as she is also trying to be there for her sisters as they deal with the grief of losing her mother and stepfather. She knew that Roman was on the team but she didn’t think he would remember her but she is about to find out how wrong she is.
The chemistry and connection between Roman and Alexandria is stronger than ever but they agree to keep their relationship professional until the end of the year so it doesn’t destroy their careers however that is a challenge they can’t meet. Greet chemistry, so much emotion and a love that trumps all. Stephen Dexter does a wonderful job with the possessive and protective sides of Roman while Stella Bloom brings out both the strength and feistiness of her personality.
