After what she has been through Tatum isn’t interested in any man but especially a football player. This is why she should be immune to Reed however the proximity of being roommates as well as his charm is making that difficult as their relationship starts with a friendship, she didn’t know she wanted.

Reed is enchanted by Tatum, but he also knows that something has happened that she isn’t talking about. He knows he needs to be patient so he forges a friendship to earn her trust and when her past resurfaces he shows her that she can count on him to always be her biggest supporter.

Reed isn’t about to let anyone, or anything come between them and that includes her past. I enjoyed seeing Tatum reclaim the woman she used to be with the support of her friends and family. The characters are captivating, the romance is heartfelt, and the great cast of secondary characters only leaves you wanting more of this series. Stephanie Kay brings out the strength and resilience of Tatum while Lee Samuels brings out the protector in Reed.
