As deep as the feelings that Atom has for Ember he also knows that they can’t be together.  She is the daughter of the club’s president, and he is enforcer who has told that no member can get involved with her. He has distanced himself from her but when he finds out she is in danger there is nothing he won’t do to protect her and claim her as his own.
Ember has tried to distance herself from the MC in part because of her feelings for Atom and in part because of her relationship with her father.  When she finds herself being threatened the club is there for her, but it will also have her facing her feelings for Atom once again.
Action and intrigue combine with romance and emotion as Atom and Ember find themselves torn between loyalty to the club and their love for each other.
