Lilah refuses to let the traumatic event she endured years earlier define her. She has found a place to heal at Mustang Creek Ranch even if Emmett seems to disapprove of everything she does. She may have feelings for Emmett but doesn’t believe he will ever feel the same way until a little danger and the daughter he didn’t know about force them together.
Emmett has a difficult past which has made him determined not to fall in love or have a family. His life is turned upside down to find out he has an 8 year old daughter that he knew nothing about. Now he is trying to deal with his grieving daughter who along with Lilah show him how empty his life truly was.
Emmett, Lilah and Lucy are all great characters who draw you in. A little turmoil, some suspense and so many feels as Emmett and Lilah bring us through a rollercoaster of emotion. Gregory Salinas did a wonderful job with Emmet as you could feel the conflict he was experiencing while Savannah Peachwood brings out the strength and sass of Lilah.
