Jude may not look like a fierce protector but looks can be deceiving. When Mila, the woman he spent one unforgettable night with a year earlier, appears at his door hurt yet determined the two things he knows is that he is not going to let her face it alone and that he isn’t about to let her walk out of his life a second time.
Mila will do anything for those she cares about, and it is this trait has placed her in danger. She is going to do whatever is necessary to uncover the truth, despite any consequence it might mean for her, and isn’t about to let others handle what she views as her fight.
Mila is strong, independent and doesn’t back from any one or any situation and Jude knows that the best way to keep her safe is to be by her side. I enjoyed seeing them finally give in to the feelings and the combination of suspense and family was perfect.
