Artemis has endured experiences that no one should have to and emerged stronger and more resilient from it.   One threat may have been extinguished but another has surfaced that is placing not only her but everyone she cares about not only in jeopardy but uncertain who to trust.

We are introduced to three very different men in this story.   Saint has been part of her life for a while however their relationship is more of antagonism than friendship.   Reese has arrived but he was part of the past she is trying to overcome.  While Kade may be connected to Reese but there is a lot about him that we don’t know.

The characters and the relationship between them are intriguing as they take us on a suspenseful and surprising journey that leaves us needing the next book in this series.
