Due to his past when it comes to romance Niall has come to the conclusion that he isn’t destined for love instead he is content with working with Finn and is close to his family. While helping Finn on a mission he is there to rescue Anna and from the moment that happened he is conflicted by the depth of his feelings while believing they could never have a future together.
Anna has been through a devastating experience and is still trying to heal from the aftermath.
