Renee Harless, her husband, and children live in Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. She studied Communication, specifically Public Relations, at Radford University.

Growing up, Renee always found a way to pursue her creativity. It began by watching endless runs of White Christmas – yes even in the summer – and learning every word and dance from the movie. She could still sing “Sister Sister” if requested. In high school she joined the show choir and a community theatre group, The Troubadours. After marrying the man of her dreams and moving from her hometown, she sought out a different artistic outlet – writing.

To say that Renee is a romance addict would be an understatement. When she isn’t chasing her kids around the house, working her day job, or writing, she jumps head first into a romance novel.

Lila though she had her future all planned out until she realized it was nothing but a lie. Her only thought was escape so she heads to the airport in what would have been her wedding dress to board the first flight she could. It is on this flight that she meets Dean who offers assistance when she needs someone the most even though their paths will never cross again when she returns home.

Dean is successful both when it comes to women and his family’s business who is intrigued by Lila and wants to be there for her through this difficult time. He had no plans to see her again however fate had other ideas when he becomes the sole caregiver to his grieving niece and nephew, and Lila is hired as their nanny.

I enjoyed the evolution of both Dean and Lila as even though it began to ensure the kids had everything they needed the chemistry and connection unfolded between them like it was always meant to be as even thought it may not have been the future they planned it was the one they wanted.
