Chad left his hometown and pursued a career in the military but now that his father has passed away he and his brother’s have elected to return to be there for their mother emotionally and to help manage his father’s businesses. His first meeting with Britt was unforgettable as not only does he come to her rescue, but he also offers her a place to stay and a job.
Britt had high hopes when she moved with her boyfriend, but nothing turned out as she planned when she finds herself alone and in financial distress. When Chad offers her a lifeline she is grateful. She becomes not only close to him but his family as well however when she uncovers a discrepancy at the company the danger escalates.
I really enjoyed the secondary characters and how the Young family are there for each other and everyone they care about. An enchanting romance and a little intrigue add up to an entertaining story.
