When Chloe finds herself in a difficult situation at work she needs some time to regroup before she tells her family. Since her brother is away she decides to stay at his home not realizing that Trystan was pet sitting for him. She has had feelings for Trystan since she was a teenager but doesn’t believe he seems the same way and has grown weary of his protectiveness.
Trystan has had feelings for Chloe since they were teenagers as well so even though he has good intentions it doesn’t always come across the best way. When she arrives, he knows there is more going on then she is saying, and their forced proximity only confirms that denying their feelings for each other is no longer possible.
The chemistry between Chloe and Trystan is undeniable as they work through the misunderstandings of the past and realize what everyone else in their lives already know that they are destined to be together.
