Ian is a man who is accustomed to being in control both when it comes to McKay Taggert, his security company, and the BDSM lifestyle he has embraced. That is why when Charlotte, the only woman he has ever loved, who he also believed was dead, reappeared she turned his life upside down. He is still angry about the past and isn’t about to let her back in his life without a fight.

Charlotte has always loved Ian however she faced an impossible choice when it came to her sister and him. Everything she has done since she disappeared from his life has been with the intent of finding her way back to him and now that she is there she will do whatever he needs to show him that she will trust him to be the Dom she needs.

Charlotte’s sassy give as good as she gets personality is the perfect match for the sarcastic man who tries to claim he has no feelings which couldn’t be further from the truth. The heat between them is electric and the suspense keeps you on edge as Ian and Charlotte get their second chance. Ryan West does a superb job narrating this story as you can feel every emotion including the intense love between them.
