Even though they live on different continents Alex hasn’t been able to forget the time he spent with Haven and how he didn’t want it to end. He isn’t sure how to find a path forward until fate steps in and brings Haven to his door with the baby daughter he didn’t know he had and the uncertainty of being a father.
Haven doesn’t regret the time she shared with Alex or Everly, the daughter they created. She wants Alex to be a part of their daughter’s life but she isn’t sure how that can happen but the one thing she does know is that she would do anything for her daughter. Spending time with Alex and Everly allows her to appreciate the beautiful gift they have been given and that she doesn’t have to do everything by herself.
I enjoyed seeing the relationship between Alex and Haven develop as they go from individuals to a family with the support of each other and his family. They take us on a heartwarming journey that incorporates humor, heart and a wonderful life that neither saw coming.
