After his wife passed away Cal closed himself off to love however from the moment that he met Gaby he couldn’t deny his feelings for her. For the last three years he has been happy with the relationship they share but when she wants more he isn’t willing to give it so she walks out of his life.

Gaby loves Cal with her whole heart, but she needs more and has come to the sad conclusion that he will never feel the same way. She makes the decision to leave, and it will be ten months before she sees him again which doesn’t end well. He is now determined to fight for a second chance but the events of what happened when they were apart continues to cast a shadow on their second chance.

This story packs an emotional punch that I wasn’t expecting. The love that Cal and Gaby have for each other is apparent, even if Cal hasn’t yet acknowledged it, and the strength and resilience of Gaby was inspiring. The audio performance of Sebastian York was fantastic as he brought out the heat, emotion and insecurities of both these characters.
