Morgan has recently been appointed as the town planner however the situation is complicated as some of the townspeople believe that the position was given to her and not earned. The first project she must review is the rodeo that Slade wants to build on the family land he is willing to donate and that means seeing past his reputation to who he really is.
Slade knows what people think about him but that is less important than his family and the ranch. He wants the project to succeed and is willing to show Morgan how it can but he wasn’t prepared for the many personal feelings he had for her.
Slade is cautious when it comes to his feelings for Morgan which causes some turmoil, but he realizes that what they share is worth fighting for. battle with the preconceived ideas that others have of them but that doesn’t apply to each other and even though they were cautious
