Harris is a professional player who along with his team find themselves in Washington to build their skills and the relationships between them. When he meets Lucy he is smitten and isn’t about to correct her impression that he is a lumberjack as it allows her to get to know him and not his celebrity status which leads to some hijinks along the way.
Sara was born and raised in Star Lake. She is surrounded by friends and family and has created a successful career as a yoga instruction however the same success hasn’t translated when it comes to romance. She can’t help but be drawn to the inept lumberjack especially when it comes to the mayhem he brings into her structured life.
The interactions between Sara and Harris are both fun and flirty. The combination of the team being in town and the lumberjack competitions makes for some funny situations and there is also what Sara doesn’t know about Harris as well as their very different lives to add a little unrest along the way.
