Javier is the playboy Sous chef at the Topped Restaurant. He had a strict policy of one and done and definitely no relationships but lately as he sees how happy his friends are with their “ones” he thinks he may be missing something.

Juliana has given a lot while she served her country and the casualties include her dominant hand as well as her marriage. She is the hostess at Topped while she adjusts to the loss of her hand and civilian life.

Javi is very interested in Juliana and they have a lot in common including the loss of her hand and the fact that his brother lost both his legs while serving. They spend a steamy evening together but this time Javi wants more and Juliana is the one walking away as she doesn’t believe that he could commit to any woman let any her. Javi is not about to let her go without a fight but who will be the winner or will it become a draw?

This author weaves a storyline that includes suspense and a few twists which never fails to entertain. Sebastian York gives extra depth to these compelling and complex characters and their journey.
