ADDYSON

I’ve always liked my job and being able to talk to different people, even if some of them are rude and entitled.  The good far outweighs the bad and it’s always nice to help them, even if I’m not out here brokering world peace.  But then I hear something on a call that changes everything.

The only thing for me to do is break the rules a little and try to help get my caller justice.  If only that didn’t put me on the radar of the very man who I can now identify.  I’m not the kind of woman who knows who to run to when my life is in danger.  There’s only one person to call—my best friend who has a biker for a man.

What I never expected was to walk into the DSMC’s clubhouse in Charleston and come face to face with a man called Mayhem.  Having the president of the club tell me that I’ll never be safer than by his side is exactly what I need to hear.  Mayhem looks at me like I mean something to him, but can I trust him with more than keeping me alive?  If it were up to him, he’d hand over his heart and let me keep it.

Being the Prez is all a balancing act, one that I relish because the brothers are my family and dedicating my life to them and the club has always been my future.  I watched my father lead the club and knew I’d wear the same patch on my cut one day.  Everything is as it should be, even though my mom insists that I need to find an old lady.

Having a woman on the back of my bike is the last thing I need.  Who needs that drama?  I have enough to deal with when it comes to what my brothers get up to, without adding a woman to the mix.  I’m good; at least, I thought I was until Addyson shows up at the clubhouse needing protection.

Mayhem is the President of the MC and is willing to help a fellow MC member. Meeting Addyson changes everything and now he is determined to protect her not as a favor but as the woman he is determined to make his own.

The characters of Addyson and Mayhem draw you in as he is a possessive protector while she is determined to do what is right. The fellow MC members add to the story as they embrace Addyson as their own and the heat between Addyson and Mayhem radiates off the pages.
