Sutton is a successful actor who needs to take a break from the stress and demands of his career and the media attention that goes along with it. With his brother’s help he is trying to keep a low profile in Whispers however he finds himself at the diner every day unable to stay away from Nikki, the waitress he can’t stop thinking about.

Nikki is trying to keep a low profile as well as she tries to stay ahead of the danger from her past. The more time she spends with Sutton the more difficult it becomes to keep her walls up but she knows that if her past catches up with her it won’t only be herself in danger.

I really enjoyed how Sutton was patient and gave Nikki the time to learn that she could trust him and that there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do to protect those he loved while she wanted him for the man he was and not what he could do for her. I haven’t previously had the opportunity to experience the audio performances of Duncan Cole and June Deborahae but they didn’t disappoint as they brought out all the feels of this story.
