Brinley has comes to Rixton U to not only attend school but to learn more about the father she doesn’t know. From her arrival in town she can’t help but wonder exactly what is going on when she finds herself bouncing from one suspicious event to another and it always seems to be Cooper who is there for her when she needs someone the most.
Cooper is the goalie for the University hockey team that is coached by her father. From their first meeting he can’t deny his feelings for Brinley, and he isn’t about to deterred by the actions that others are taking to keep them apart or the danger she finds herself in. He is determined to protect Brinley and uncover the truth no matter the cost.
This author manages to combine all the aspects of an entertaining story between the emotion, the humor, the suspense and most of all the romance between these two compelling characters. There is also a great group of secondary characters that add additional depth to this story.
