I rose from my chair, adrenaline coursing through my body the way it did when I was on the verge of sealing a very important deal.

“I haven’t seriously considered this until now,” I confessed. Though that wasn’t strictly true, because from the second my brothers mentioned it, the idea had percolated in my mind. Hannah May will do anything for her mother and that includes working on an adult telephone line even though she is inexperienced and her phone calls were hilarious.   When a couple of deaths are tied to the line she is working she finds herself teaming up with Dominic, a detective, who decides to coach her on the calls.

Dominic decided that to pursue a career in law enforcement even though his family owns a successful coffee company.    When his case crosses paths with Hannah May he is taken aback by their first conversation but the more time he spends with her the deeper the feelings he has for her even if getting personally involved with her breaks all the rules professionally.

This story was funny, had a little suspense and featured a man who wanted to make things easer for Hannah May however she is both strong, independent and plans to keep it that way.   Lee Samuels brings out all aspects of Dominic’s personality while Summer Morton portrayed the sassy side of Hannah May and the references to NCIS only made it better.
