Heads or tails? The flip of my coin decides how I end your life.
My obsession with Sage Everett runs deeper and darker than the water of Black River—the boundary that divides our land.
I’ve spent years watching the girl next door from beneath the brim of my cowboy hat. Tragedy and family feuds separate us, so I’ve kept my presence in her life unknown.
Until her monsters creep out of the shadows.
My wildflower seeks a savior, and all this gambler needed was a reason.
And that’s how I end up with blood on my hands for the girl tangled up in my heart.
God can’t save you from The Gambler. Not when there’s a debt to collect.
As the CEO of a major department store, I know firsthand that Christmas joy can be bought and sold just like anything else.
That’s right. When it comes to the most wonderful time of the year, I’m a grinch in a penthouse.
But when a gorgeous, red-headed firefighter saves me from a heart attack with a kiss and a whispered plea, even I can’t begrudge her a simple favor – be her date at her younger brother’s holiday wedding.
Turns out, there’s nothing simple about it.
Suddenly, I’m ice skating on frozen ponds, baking cookies with her family, kissing under mistletoes, and finding a little fa-la-la in the season. I don’t even recognize myself.
Because she’s like the spirit of Christmas present, haunting my thoughts, sparking something in my cold heart, and making me crave things past-me would never have considered asking the big man in red for – a future.
Once upon a time, a scrooge like me vowed to transform. The only thing he didn’t get in the end was the girl. I’m determined that won’t happen to me.
It’s either give up my selfish ways or lose the love of a truly elf-ish woman.

L.B. Dunbar is back with another Holiday Hottie certain to heat the season and be your reason to fall in love this November. The fourth book among these Chicago firefighters can be read as a complete standalone, but we’re sure you’ll want to check out the rest of the department once you finish this one.

What she doesn’t expect when she moves home is him.

The Christmas Playbook by S.J. Sylvis & S. Massery is now live in audio!
Narrated by: Lee Samuels & Rose Dioro
One cabin. One week. One fake relationship.
Winter break was supposed to be easy: one last trip with my best friends, a little snowboarding, maybe some hot cocoa spiked with something stronger. No drama, no strings.
Then my cabin got double-booked.
Enter Mira Winters—my childhood neighbor and crush. And somehow, the girl managed to get even prettier since the last time I saw her.
She’s got one problem: her family makes mine look like a walk in the park, and she’d rather fake a boyfriend than deal with their constant judgement.
Guess who she asks to step up? Yours truly.
It’s supposed to be for show. Hold her hand. Steal a kiss under the mistletoe. Pretend I’m head over heels for her. Easy. Right?
Except the more we play this game, the more I want it to be real. And suddenly I’m less worried about the score her family is keeping and more about what happens when the week is over—because for the first time in a long time, I’m all in.
This Christmas, I don’t just want to win the game. I want the girl.
This spicy, forced proximity holiday romance is a sweet companion novella to the Shadow Valley U series. It can be enjoyed as a standalone.
🎧Review🎧 Mira’s family vacation with her family is an event to get through and not one to be enjoyed as she always finds herself on the receiving end of their jokes and she now finds herself staying alone as her family forget to include her in their reservations. Her vacation takes another turn when she realizes that the cabin has been double-booked and she finds herself staying with Rhys, her childhood neighbor.
Now that Rhys has finished school, he is looking forward to the next phase in his life which hopefully includes playing football professionally. A holiday trip with his friends before they go their separate ways gets interesting when he finds out he has a roommate. After giving in to the chemistry between them the one thing he does know is he wants much more than a vacation fling.
The chemistry between them is intense as what started out as a pretend relationship soon becomes very real. Lee Samuels gruff voice only enhances how protective he is of Mia while Rose Dioro brings out both the sensitive and sassy sides of Mira.
She was always ours. Ours to protect. Ours to love.

🖤Review🖤 The story of Gio, Preston and Kingston continues and it doesn’t disappoint. The loyalty and love that Presley shows for those she loves was never in question even if she finds herself in a situation she never wanted and separated from the two men who own her heart. That being said she is going to own her future even and isn’t waiting to be rescued by any man.
Gio and Kingston did what they thought was best for Preston but the love and devotion they had for her never wavered. They know that she isn’t about to forgive and forget but there is nothing they won’t do to reclaim the woman they love and give her the happiness and future she deserves.
Preston’s strength and resilience shines through while Gio and Kingston show that she is their destiny. They take us on quite the ride that is filled with surprises that keep you on edge, emotions that are both inspiring and devastating and a love that can’t be denied.
Eric Vail has always loved a challenge. After leaving the Navy, he mastered his passion for cooking. As the sous chef at Top, one of Dallas’s hottest restaurants, his skills are pushed to the limit every night. Unfortunately, his ultimate prize still eludes him. Server Deena Holmes is the sweetest thing he’s seen in forever, but she’s as distant as she is beautiful. When they’re put together in the same training class at the infamous club Sanctum, he knows this is his shot. And this former SEAL never misses.
A Woman Who Lost Her Taste for Love…
Deena thinks Eric is the most gorgeous man she’s ever seen, but her heart has been burned too many times before. She’s sworn off relationships for good and she can’t trust herself with a man that easy to fall in love with. She takes a spot as a trainee at Sanctum in the hopes of finding a safe place to explore and experiment. When she discovers her partner is the same chef she dreams about every night, Deena knows she may have bitten off more than she can chew.
A Perfect Recipe for Passion
While exploring the world of Sanctum, Eric and Deena find themselves learning about each other and finding an intimacy neither expected. But when the ghosts of her past resurface, old wounds are reopened. Can their newfound love survive when it’s put to the test?
🎧Review🎧 Due to her divorce Deena is not looking for love or a relationship and her faith in men has been severely compromised. She has decided that she wants to have exposure to the BDSM lifestyle and decide if it is the lifestyle she wants however she had concerns about Eric being her training Dom due to the attraction she has for him.
After his career in the Navy ended Eric found himself working as a chef at Top. He has been attracted to Deena, his co-worker, since he first saw her so when he is paired as her Dom he believes it will give him an opportunity to not only show her the life is for her but that he is as well.
Eric is so supportive and understanding as he helps Deena heal from her past and show her that she is strong in all areas of her life and not just her career. Sebastian York was a great choice to narrate this story as he brings out both the heat and emotion between the characters.
He’s the salty fisherman whose family owns miles of coastline…she’s the business-savvy realtor looking for oceanfront property to develop.
The coast of Maine may not be everybody’s dream place to live, but for me, it’s home. Miles and miles of shoreline have been in my family’s possession for well over a hundred years, and I have no intention of letting that change, either.
So when Stella Stewart, the sassy property developer, lands in town, ready to make an offer for the family property, she finds out fast that coming here from New York … well that was a wasted trip.
I don’t want her money; I just want her gone. No matter how much I enjoy looking at her.
But when back-to-back nor’easters ground all flights in and out of Maine, Stella suddenly ends up with no place to go besides my family’s Christmas celebration. And she has no place to stay—besides my house.
In my bed.
I may be the salty fisherman. But she’s just … salty.
At least I thought she was until I spent some time with her. Now, I’m not so sure. But I do know one thing … I’m suddenly not quite ready for her to leave town.
What to Expect:
Enemies to lovers Forced proximity Small town Lobster Fisherman “Just one time”
🐟Review🐟 Stella doesn’t have a lot of experience with family and Christmas is the season she would like to avoid. She now finds herself in Maine trying to convince Ridge, an irritated fisherman that he wants to sell some of his family’s land even though all previous attempts have failed.
Ridge wants nothing to do with selling his land or with Stella however fate by way of the weather had other ideas. As he finds himself having to spend time with her and including her in the holiday season will be surprising for them both.
The interactions between them are humorous, the attraction between them hot and I enjoyed seeing Stella realize what and who was missing from her life.

💜Review💜 Dred has overcome a difficult childhood and created a life for herself where she gets to fulfill her love of books by working as a librarian and she is best friends with Flip, a member of the Toronto Terror, and with the rest of the team as well. When everything she works for could be in jeopardy she agrees to a marriage of convenience not only for Connor but for his grandmother as well.
Connor’s upbringing couldn’t be more different than Connors’s, but his childhood was just as difficult, but his grandmother was always there for her. He would do anything for her and that includes pretending to be in a relationship with Dred even though it means that it could make his relationship with his teammates even more tenuous.
I enjoyed seeing Dred and Connor learn to trust each other with their secrets and their past. There is so much more to Connor than first appears and Dred is one of the few people to actually see past his demeanor to the man he is. Jason Clarke brings out the protector in Connor while Kat Auden shows us how strong and resilient Dred has always had to be.
