When her nose isn’t buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she’s in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It’s a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn’t listen to her…
💕Review💕 When Everleigh’s mother is ill she does not hesitate to be there for her even if it means returning to the hometown, she left nearly a decade earlier after the devasting accident which ended her relationship with her first and only love Brock. Seeing him again with his daughter only reinforces all that she has lost and the love that she has always had for him.
Brock is a single father to his daughter Saige, and she is his whole world. Seeing Everleigh again brings up the pain of the past and allows us to revisit not only the love they shared but the events that tore them apart. Neither has been able to move but if they are to have a second chance it will require healing from the past that still stands between them.
This is an emotional and romantic story about two people who have always belonged together who find their way back to each other. You will feel for the position that Brock and Everleigh founds themselves in and Saige is too adorable for words. Gregory Salinas was a great choice for Brock as he brought all the swoon while Savannah Peachwood portrayed the spirited personality of Everleigh.
Brit Benson writes real, relatable romance. She likes outspoken, independent heroines, dirty talking, love-struck heroes, and plots that get you right in the feels.
Brit would almost always rather be reading or writing. When she’s not dreaming up her next swoony book boyfriend and fierce book bestie, she’s getting lost in someone else’s fictional world. When she’s not doing that, she’s probably marathoning a Netflix series or wandering aimlessly up and down the aisles in Homegoods, sniffing candles and touching things she’ll never buy.
🎸Review🎸 Claire is a character you can’t help relating to as even though she hasn’t always made the best choices she picks herself up and perseveres. When she is assigned to help Jonah revamp his public persona, she is determined to fulfill her responsibilities but that doesn’t mean she is just going to take his treatment of her without pushing back.
Jonah may be a successful rockstar but the same can’t be said for his personal life. As a result he resorts to actions that help numb his pain but only create more problems. The last thing he wants is Claire monitoring his every move but spending time for forces him to realize that they understand each other in a way he never expected.
Claire and Jonah both bear the emotional scars of the past and are cautious when it comes to love and trust. They are kindred souls, and they make each other want to be better both for themselves and each other. Mollie Stark and Jason Clarke do a sensational job as they bring out all the angst, emotion and love on Claire and Jonah’s journey.
Bailey expected a proposal. Instead, she was handed a broken heart. So much for happily ever after. The last thing she wanted to do was go to her best friend’s destination wedding by herself and put on a happy face. But as the maid of honor, she had duties. Too bad falling in love wasn’t one of them.
Tim’s overworked and overtired. He doesn’t expect a midnight collision with a beautiful, albeit almost naked woman to turn his world upside down. Of course, the crash happens in a hotel hallway, and his world is a pile of towels. At least that’s the start of it.
From the moment their eyes meet, Tim and Bailey have a magnetized attraction that tugs at Bailey’s battered heart. But she’s been wrong before. Is Tim everything he seems to be, or is he too good to be true?

Lachlan

Loose lips sink ships… Which isn’t a problem unless it causes her twin sister – who you might be in love with – to hate you. And, of course, if it could get you traded from your dream team due to becoming a PR problem you swore you wouldn’t be. I guess you could say this season won’t be easy. Especially for me, the stud.
🏒Review🏒
When Tanner finds himself in a difficult position as he tries to show the team and its management that he isn’t a liability due to his reputation. He needs help from Arden, who handles the team PR, but it isn’t going to be easy to show her the man he is due to his past with her sister.
Arden will work with Tanner because it is her job, but she wants nothing to do with him personally. Based on his reputation and actions she has a preconceived notion about who Tanner is but when she spends time with him, she realizes she may not know him at all.
The repartee between them is delightful and the feelings between them intense but that doesn’t mean they don’t have some complications and turmoil to overcome.
Older. Hotter. And way out of my league, Hannah Prescott has been my obsession since the moment she uttered those five simple words.
She thinks she’ll deter me by her dismissive attitude but her words only spur me on. I love a challenge and since Hannah is my literal dream girl, she’s worth putting in a bit of work.
Up until now everything in my life has come easy: hockey, women, friendships. Then Noah Harrison is traded to our team and my spot on the first line with my best friends is at risk. Suddenly Hannah is wearing his jersey and I realize I’ve got to act fast or risk losing my shot forever.
Fortunately for me, dreams do come true because though she only offers me one night, fate has other plans. She may have said she’ll never call me Daddy Hall, but the positive pregnancy test in her hand makes that impossible.
With my every dream within reach, I need to find a way to prove to Hannah that she’s the one for me and I’m so much more than a playboy.
She thought her past was buried. He’s about to unearth the truth along with her heart.

“I’m here to see my fiancé. I believe you know Parker, Dad…”
That sentence seems innocent enough in the right setting.
But the woman’s father? Yeah, he happens to be my boss.
The first time I met Cashlynn O’Neil, she thought she was going to die before the plane we were on ever left the ground.
So I did what any gentleman would do—I comforted her, kept her distracted, and then later that night, she ended up back in my hotel room to thank me.
But then a year later she waltzed in the Carrington Cove Animal Hospital and told her father we were engaged.
And that would have been harmless, except the last time I was engaged it left me scarred beyond repair, vowing never to entertain the idea of love again.
I can’t fall for my boss’s daughter.
I can’t keep lying to myself about how I feel either.
But is it possible that someday you learn that it’s not the wrong person that will make you question what you want in life, but it’s the right one?
Grant Stockton is the devil incarnate. The cowboy turned casino-owning crime boss has been the bane of my existence for as long as I can remember—first as my older brother’s best friend, then as my guardian when my brother died at his side, and now as the rival bar owner and landlord running me into the red.
He might be the head of The Quiet Horsemen, the man everyone else in this town fears, but I’m not about to cede a single inch of ground to him.
If I have to lie, cheat, and steal to keep him from finding out my bar’s underwater—well, that’s exactly what I’ll do.
At least until he breaks into my apartment and discovers my secret. One that gives him all the leverage he needs to control my fate.
My only reprieve is that The Horsemen are in the middle of a war, one that’s been spilling blood for the better part of a decade, and his enemies are closing in on our small mountain town.
Which is why I’m taken off guard by the demand he makes in exchange for keeping my secret.
Apparently there are benefits to being at the mercy of the devil…
Behind the fierce woman with the black-cat attitude lay a checkered history and shocking secrets. Secrets that surpassed my own and rocked the foundations of my high-profile world.
But I simply couldn’t let her go. Not when Remmy Adams—C.E.O. of “I don’t give a f-k”—had blown into my life without warning twice in the last year, then vanished just as fast.
I wouldn’t let it happen a third time.
Not now that I needed her more than ever.
Relationships were like manicures, quick and fleeting. Here for a fun time but not a long time, and Scout Gatlin—the star pitcher for the Portland Bears baseball team—was meant to be just that.
Twice I thought he’d forget me, but from the moment he picked me out of the crowd at a ball game, he again proved me wrong.
And look where that got us: Just months into our wild love affair, his baseball career came to a screeching halt—and it was all because of my past.
“I think you may have gone overboard on the pudding cups.”
I fake gasp in horror. “You will not speak such sacrilege in my kitchen.”
He glances over his shoulder and grins. “What I have planned for the pudding cups will most definitely be sacrilegious. Where are your cold cuts?”
“I could make such a dirty comment, but I won’t. Middle drawer.” I hop onto the counter, the cold granite suctioning to my bare ass. Not the most pleasant sensation. “I want spicy mustard on my sandwich,” I say as I eye the growing pile of fruit, cheese, and deli meat on the counter.
He turns around, his eyes gleaming with mischief. “Not making a sandwich. We’re playing a game.” He steps closer, fitting himself between my legs.
“What kind of game involves half the stuff from my fridge?”
“The best kind. Close your eyes.”
I give him a skeptical look. “If this is some trick to make me eat something weird, you’re in trouble.”
“No tricks.”
With a huff of amusement, I eventually oblige and close my eyes, my heart fluttering slightly from the anticipation of whatever he has planned.
“No peeking.”
“I won’t.”
With my eyes shut, sound becomes amplified. He moves around the kitchen, opening cabinets and drawers. I hear the crinkle of a wrapper, the snick of a knife against a cutting board, and my curiosity grows.
He comes back, his body heat between my legs thrumming a delicious ache. “You ready?”
“Yes.” My reply comes out breathless. There’s something very seductive about giving over control to him.
“Open.”
I part my lips and feel the cool, crisp sweetness of an apple hit my tongue. “Honeycrisp,” I say with a satisfied smile as I chew.
“How can you tell?”
“It’s my favorite.” Clumsily, I reach out and grab his wrist, bringing the rest of the apple to my mouth.
“What about this?” he says. His hands rest lightly on my waist and draw me closer. I feel the soft press of his mouth against mine—gentle at first, then more demanding. “How do I taste?” he whispers.
