Everly has been asked to help with the wedding arrangements for two of Harper’s friends from college but there is something else that he needs her help with. She has developed feelings for him, and she thought he was feeling the same way until he asked her to help with Maple, his girlfriend from college with whom he now wants a second chance.
Hardy believes that Maple is the one who got away and with his college friends finding their way back to each other he wants the same thing for him and Maple. He needs assistance so he recruits Everly to his cause but between the undercover reconnaissance, the double dates and everything in between he might just realize what everyone around him already knows when it comes to Maple and Everly.
This story was so much fun. The situations they found themselves in were humorous, the banter was witty, the romance was heartwarming, and his friends and family were there when things became a little tumultuous. The performance of the narrators made this wonderful story even better as you could empathize with what the characters were experiencing from their insecurities to their love.
