Getting called into your coach’s office is never good especially when Posey learns the task he has been assigned. Finding out that he has to hire the coach’s daughter as his assistant was bad enough but it only becomes worse with the jobs that he is supposed to have her do. He didn’t think it could get any worse until he finds out that the daughter is the same woman he briefly met a year previously and has been trying to locate ever since.

Wylie agreed to study business for her father but that isn’t the future she wants. When she tells her father he agrees to let her step away for one semester if she becomes Posey’s assistant. She is confused by the two different sides of him and once she finds out what is really going on the battle is on and the sparks fly.

The chemistry between them radiates off the pages and Posey is supportive of Wylie as she tries to follow her dreams. The narrators were a perfect choice for the characters and the cast of narrators for his teammates and their significant others is humor at its best especially when it comes to the group texts.
