Bridger will do anything for those he cares about and if thinks anyone is hurting them he is a force to be reckoned with. He believes that Emilia is responsible for a gossip column which has created animosity between them as he doesn’t believe her protestations however when he realizes his mistake he finds himself trying to make amends.

Emilia is fun, feisty and gives as good as she gets. After the treatment she has received from Bridger she isn’t about to just forgive and forget and nothing less than an apology will do. Seeing him finally acknowledge his mistake also allows her to see beyond their past to the protective and supportive man that he is.

I enjoyed the evolution of both these characters as they opened their hearts to each other and even though their journey wasn’t without turmoil it only reinforced that they are meant to be.
