Due to his past the one thing that Max does know is that love and a relationship are not part of his future. He is intrigued by his neighbor in spite of himself especially when he finds out that he is the leading star in her story and is about to show her that the thoughts she puts on paper can be a reality.
I really enjoyed Ellie and Max together as her vibrant and outgoing personality is the perfect foil for Max who prefers to keep his thoughts and experiences private. The romance between them is endearing, the banter humorous and the quirky secondary characters only make this story better.
