The Redo, a hilarious and sexy friends to lovers, second chance, standalone romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author Max Monroe is coming July 17th, and we have the incredible cover!
Put a finger down if you’ve ever been a single woman who got stuck in a New York City elevator in the middle of a summer blackout with your former high school sweetheart—whom you haven’t seen in years—while pregnant with a baby that isn’t biologically yours. And you can’t believe how handsome that blast from your past is, so you unwittingly flirt with him a little even though your life is so crazy complicated you’re barely keeping your head above water, but everything about him makes you think you could totally still be in love with him.
*puts a finger down*
What? Just me?
Needless to say, my current status is thorny. And no, I didn’t miss how close that word is to another one.
Even though he’s the epitome of tall, dark, and incredibly handsome, Remington Winslow has been a single bachelor for most of his life. It’s clichéd and basic—until you consider the fact that once upon a terrible time, he got left at the altar.
He doesn’t do relationships. He definitely doesn’t fall in love.
And I’m just trying to survive a tangled web of unexpected motherhood and running one of the top real estate firms in the city that never sleeps.
He’s the jaded guy who doesn’t want to settle down, and I’m the career-focused woman with more baggage than a 747 can hold.
We’re just two friends who used to be in love.
Now, if someone would tell my hormones I’m not a teenager anymore, I’d be set.

Or maybe just break them?
Ai-Ri has been training under YK Management in Korea for two years without any results. She doesn’t fit the typical mold for a successful K-POP idol image, literally down to her blood type. She has six more months before college entrance exams which means she only has six months to make it as an idol before her dreams are crushed.
Things take a turn when two of the most famous male idols break away from their group and decide to form their own co-ed group, a rarity.
And wonder of all wonders, they need one more girl.
It would be the perfect opportunity, except she hates them.
They are arrogant, entitled, rich little snobs who want the world to worship the ground they walk on. To make matters worse, the only reason they came to her was because they are desperate, which means she needs to prove herself even more.
Tempers and personalities collide when she’s forced to either accept the position or give up on her dream.
But what happens when you suddenly go from anti-fan and enemy number one to stuck in a love triangle between two boys you were born to hate but are somehow falling in love with? And will the group survive the heartbreak that follows when she finally makes her choice?

We both start to sing the chorus, and then she breaks apart from me and takes the higher harmony. It sounds how I imagined it would, and I want to keep going because it feels good being in here with her, so I motion for her to keep singing her part. She does it flawlessly. We hit the chorus again before it goes into my rap line. I get lost in the words. Music always has a way of distracting me. The chorus pops up again. Ah-Ri joins in and starts to dance a bit next to me. I smile and keep singing. We do four more takes, all of them perfect yet slightly different. By the time we finish the last one, I have so much adrenaline pumping through my system that I could record all day. She pulls off her headphones and holds up her hand. I make a fist and punch it lightly. Ah-Ri throws her head back and laughs. “I guess I deserved that.” “You really did.” I smirk, then hold up my other hand. “One last chance?” She sets her headphones on the stand, moves in front of me, and then slowly presses her palm against mine. Instinct takes over. My fingers slide into hers. Her smile falters as she stares at our joined hands. “Looks like our palms like a seriously long kiss.” “A lingering kiss,” I tease, licking my lips. “Lingering, huh?” Her eyes focus on my mouth. This is a bad idea, my brain screams. Do not fall for your bandmate, the very one you could hate later or have to see on tour every day. In the history of bad ideas, this would be the worst. Slowly, I pull my hand away from hers. It falls empty at my side. It doesn’t hurt, but it doesn’t feel good, either. It feels like she’s missing when she’s standing right in front of me. She stares down at her hand, then over at mine before slowly grabbing it again and pressing a kiss to my palm. Her lips burn a hole through my skin. They create a memory with zero effort, one I’ll never escape from unless someone chops off my hand. “You guys alive in there?” Haneul’s voice comes through the sound system. I jerk away from Ah-Ri, look through the glass, and leave the booth. It was a moment of temporary insanity, brought on by high emotions, close proximity, and touching. No more high-fives. No more palm kissing. Am I a toddler or something? I wipe my hands on my black sweats and casually run a hand through my hair as I walk toward Haneul. Jisoo is in the corner on her phone. Haneul smirks like he caught me making out. It was just our hands.

“The love story itself is stirring and emotional, and Emily and Bobby’s second chance feels well-earned.”—Publishers Weekly review for Escape Girl
Emily Saturn’s world is spinning out of control. An intellectual property lawyer, she’s gone rogue from her firm, dealing with a major lawsuit against a predatory software company’s CEO pro bono. When she isn’t looking for elusive evidence she can use—legally, of course—she’s trying to avoid her soon-to-be ex-husband, Bobby March. After their whirlwind courtship and wedding, Bobby can’t pinpoint what went wrong between them. He’s been working for months on his new career and personal growth, determined to be the man his wife deserves. Desperate to get her attention, Bobby invites Emily to a series of individually designed virtual escape rooms, each one a moment from their love story. Hopefully, the sexy, romantic trip down memory lane will rekindle their intense connection—and clue him in on how to fix this. Emily has never been able to resist a puzzle. Or, frankly, Bobby. The more she interacts with her husband online, the more she wants to see him again in person. Which is beyond stupid because Emily knows he’s wrong for her. Right?
The sun was low in the sky by the time he drove me back to my father’s house in Pacific Heights. He pulled his Jeep to the side of the road and turned off the ignition. I reached for the door handle. “Hold up!” Bobby said. “I’m a gentleman. I’ll walk you to the door.” Grinning like an idiot, I dropped my hands in my lap and watched him jump out of the car and scramble to the passenger side. Anticipation rose like a cloud in my throat. We’d spent the entire day inches from each other without touching. I’d been able to feel his body heat near my skin for hours, but I still didn’t know how his hands felt. Or how he smelled. Or much at all about his lips. I mean, I’d memorized their exact shape and the many expressions they made when he laughed or spoke. But I was very interested in how they might move against mine. I glanced around my father’s street and up the sidewalk to the door. If I accepted the job offer I had in San Francisco and moved back here permanently, I’d choose a place in a lively neighborhood instead of this rarified, ultrawealthy corridor. I preferred sidewalk seating at nearby cafés, people walking dogs, apartments with tiny, oft-used patios. But here, on my father’s street, it was quiet. The only sounds were that of landscaping and an occasional walkie-talkie blast from a neighbor congresswoman’s Secret Service patrol. My father’s next-door neighbor was watering her plants on a spacious second-floor outdoor patio. She had a perfect view of my father’s front door, which absolutely sucked. I wanted a kiss. Not a peck on the cheek or forehead. Not a lingering handshake. I wanted a kiss to match the singeing heat I felt every time I looked in Bobby’s general direction. A kiss that would steal the breath from his lungs. A kiss where I could show him just how wound up he made me today. Bobby opened my car door, and I resigned myself to a short walk up the sidewalk and a quick goodbye. But to my surprise, he didn’t open the car door wide and offer a hand to help me out. Rather, he opened it and then stepped inward, bracing himself with both arms and blocking anyone on the street from seeing into the car. “If I walk you to the door,” he said in a low voice, “there’s going to be an audience.” My skin started to burn under my cashmere sweater. I wished I was wearing…less. My lips curved up at him as my gaze greedily roamed over his shoulders, neck, and lips. “An audience for what?” “Our goodbye,” he whispered.
💛Review💛
Emily finds herself at a crossroads both personally and professionally. She has recently left her husband and is pursuing a divorce and she has recently taken on a client outside her regular employment who needs her legal skills to prove that her work has been stolen.
Bobby doesn’t know why Emily left him and she isn’t willing to communicate with him. He comes up with an original plan to win her back by inviting her to escape rooms in the hopes that she will realize that the love they share hasn’t diminished and that a second chance could give them both the happiness they deserve.
I enjoyed seeing the past that Emily and Bobby shared as well as their journey to find each other again and the intrigue part of the story certainly keeps you entertained as well.

Veteran player Gage Heyward retired from the league following a successful career. Now the Titans need him, but does he have what it takes to get back on the ice and pull this team together?
After achieving the goals I set for myself, I walked away from my professional hockey career. It was a tough decision, but the right one at the time. When the Titans organization approached me about joining the team they were rebuilding following a devastating plane crash, I felt a passion for the game and a competitive spirit I hadn’t felt in years. The opportunity to make a huge difference to a lot of people spoke to me, and I accepted their offer and headed to Pittsburgh without a second thought.
Jenna Holland is also new to town, having moved from Phoenix to Pittsburgh to take a job with the Titans. Her past has left her with scars—both physical and emotional—and she’s slow to trust others. But the more I learn about Jenna, the more I want to know. The more I need to know. Because the beautiful blonde with honey gold eyes and a wall around her heart has me enamored.
My game on the ice is the best it’s ever been, but it’s my game off the ice I’m focused on these days. Because while Jenna may not be willing to take a chance, I know the potential is there for something big. Something life changing. Now I just need to convince her to take the shot.

USA Today bestselling author Lex Martin delivers a swoony, single dad romance about a college football player and the fake girlfriend he knows he should resist.
Football is one hundred percent the focus of my life—until a squawking toddler, with a temper to rival my own, lands in my lap and flips my life upside down.
I’ll never be Dad of the Year. Anyone will tell you that. Except maybe Sienna, my sister’s former roommate, who somehow manages to make my broody ass laugh and sees something in me no one else does.
When Sienna offers to let me and my little princess move in with her, I’m not sure if it’s to help or because she wants revenge on my teammate and long-time rival, who broke her heart.
Either way, I’m game. Because I need to get my ex off my back, and Sienna doesn’t mind pretending to be my girlfriend.
Only neither of us is ready for the sparks that fly between us or the consequences when they do.
Sienna is determined to forge her own path away from the expectations of her family. She is reeling after finding out that she didn’t really know her boyfriend at all and she never expected that it would be Ben, her friend’s brother, who would be there for her. When he suggests an arrangement that will help both of them with the situation they find themselves in it seems like the perfect solution.
Ben has a difficult past which still continues to impact his present. When he finds out about Lily, the two year old daughter he never knew he had, he is trying to adjust to being a father as well as the fact that his ex wants to reunite. He convinces Sienna that pretending to be a couple would solve both their problems not realizing that living as a family might just create one.
Sienna and Ben are so supportive of each other as they go through a challenging time in their lives. She brings love and laughter to his and Lily’s life and he can’t imagine a future without her even with the obstacles they must overcome and the people who don’t want them to be together.

He’s a defenseman on the academy’s hockey team – a well-known player on and off the ice.
It’s a reputation he wears proudly…flaunts, even. The only one he has to look out for is himself. No one expects anything else.
Thanks to past mistakes, I have a whole lot of responsibilities outside of the academy, and have no choice but to put others in my life first. They count on me, but you know what? I’m lonely.
I guess that’s why I got all tangled up in the guy whose only focus is on hockey – and fun.
What I hadn’t meant to do, however, was fall head over heels for the player who only wanted one thing from me. Can you say been there done that?
But I think, underneath it all, there’s a lot more to him than even he knows and maybe his choices aren’t his own. Maybe someone else is pulling the strings.
Either way, when past mistakes catch up with me again, the team’s biggest player must decide whether to follow the path carved out for him and walk away from me, or shape his own future, and become the man he keeps well hidden.
“You can take the boy out of the farm, but you can’t take the farm out of the boy. Come on, let me drive you the rest of the way.”
She hesitates for a brief second. “It’s not that far.”
“You’re not the one lugging this thing around,” I tease and lift her guitar.
She grins. “I’m quite capable of carrying my own guitar.”
“I have no doubt,” I say and mean it. I get the sense that Kennedy is the kind of girl who takes care of herself and everyone around her. “But come on, hop in.”
She nods and we walk to my truck. I click my fob to unlock the doors and place her guitar on the back bench seat. She slides into the front, and I circle the vehicle and get into the driver’s seat.
“Ohmigod, Matt,” she shrieks and picks a pair of my boxer shorts up off the floor, holds them up using two fingers, wrinkles her nose and asks. “Do I want to know?” I snatch them from her and toss them into the back. “Is your room this bad? Was Daisy right?”
“No and no and no.” She blinks and one eye half closes as she tries to piece that together. “You probably don’t want to know, but I’m going to tell you.” I start the truck and back out of my spot. “They probably fell out of my hockey bag after our Wednesday night game in Cape Breton. No, my room isn’t that bad.” I toss her an apologetic look, because it’s not that good either. “And no, Daisy was not right. Daisy is never right.” She’s still giving me the side eye as I pull onto the road. “What?” I ask.
“Nothing.”
“Are you telling me I won’t find your panties in the passenger seat of your car? Like it’s not a thing?”
🏒Review🏒
Matt has always put hockey first and everything else second and his goal of playing professionally is within his grasp. He doesn’t need to be distracted by anyone or anything but when Kennedy and her daughter come into his life he begins to question if he could have more than hockey in his future.
Kennedy is strong and resilient as she struggles to finish college, works multiple jobs and trying to be the best mother she can to her daughter. She doesn’t have the time, energy or desire for a relationship but a fun fling with Matt may be exactly what she needs. What could possibly go wrong?
Although Matt and Kennedy both agreed that what they shared was casual it soon become apparent that they are anything but. When their feelings for each other are tested they will need to decide if what they share is worth fighting for.
