Heโs a filthy, fierce cowboy. Iโm his best friendโs daughter. And the only thing more forbidden than his hands on meโฆ is how much I want them there. He says Iโm off limits. But now Iโm back in our small town, all grown up and aching for the one man I shouldnโt want. My dad thinks throwing me into ranch work will scare me off for good. Heโs wrong. Because the more Iโm around Dixon Chase, with his rough hands and dirty mouth, the more I want to stay. He says he canโt touch me. That I deserve better. But once he gives in, thereโs no going back. We were supposed to be a secret, something temporary. But how do I give up something that feels this real?
Small Town Romance
โค๏ธReviewโค๏ธ Faithโs father wanted her to experience life outside of the ranch, so he had her attend college away from her hometown. Now that she has finished she has returned to her hometown however her father believes it is a visit however she intends to stay.
Dixon works for her father on the ranch and is more than a decade older than her. He is determined to keep his distance in part because of her father and in part because he believes she deserves better than him however she doesnโt agree.
The chemistry between them is intense. Faith is a woman who knows what she wants in life and who she wants to spend it with and isnโt about to let anything or anyone stand in her way.
She handles her screwdriver every day, but she has no clue how much he likes it.
Yeah. Thereโs a real man in that tool, and heโs determined to break a curse for love.
Sophiaโs a handy girl with a toolbox, a job using it, and a vibrating silicone toy that takes care of those special needs. All thatโs missing is a few grand for a new pickup truck to get her business running.
A new contracting job with Jaeger Duke, the slimy son of a politician, will get her the dollars, but she doesnโt realize how dangerous this dumb, coked-up, nepo-douche baby can be.
Fortunately, the guy cursed to live inside her screwdriver knows the deal and is willing to strip some threads to protect her.
Unfortunately, the woman heโs pining for only appreciates him for his flathead.
Thatโs when an itsy-bitsy spider thatโs possessed by an ambitious demon drops by with a way to break the curse. Sophia has to grasp her screwdriverโs thicker side in a very intimate way before she and her entire toolbox get completely screwed.
โโ
If, when you finish this book, you ask yourself โWhat the heckiddy-heck did I just read?โ then I have done my job.
If, despite this pertinent and valid question, youโre interested in watching this story turn into a Why Choose, stay tuned for three more novellas about Sophia and the rest of the toolbox crew.

Julia and her best friend Tonya own a construction company.ย ย She has a deep connection to some of her tools as she inherited them from her dad.ย ย There is one way that Julia finds herself consistently dealing with who wants her for more than her construction skills even though she only sees him as an entitled man who will do whatever is necessary to get what he wants.
Due to an incident in the past Caspian is no longer the man he was but has been transformed into a screwdriver.ย ย He wants a future with her but that means she will have to understand that he is much more than a screwdriver as he tries to protect her from a threat she doesnโt know is coming.
This was such a unique story that brings all the heat and humor.ย Not only does it give us a happy for now but it also leaves us wondering what the future will hold for everyone involved.

When I step through the archway to the kitchen, I stop cold. โWhat are you doing here?โ I ask, signing as I speak, fully aware that I sound like a dick, but unable to stop the words from pouring from my mouth and my hands.
Fallon sighs loudly and tucks an errant strand of hair behind her left ear. โWeโve been over this, Ollie. I live here now. Get used to it.โ
Blue chuckles and I want to wipe that stupid smirk off his pretty fucking face. โWeโre making smoothies,โ he says with pride, as though tossing ingredients into a blender is akin to performing open-heart surgery.
I stalk toward the fridge and start pulling out everything Iโll need to make my lunch. I grab a cutting board because I fucking can and because doing so means Blue has to move over a couple inches. Iโm spreading a thin layer of mustard on a thick slice of sourdough bread when I catch sight of what heโs adding to the concoction heโs making.
Without a second thought, I grab the small dish of blueberries and empty it into my palm before tipping my head back to toss a few in.
โThe fuck?โ Blue mutters, scowling as he nabs the empty dish from my hand.
At Fallonโs look of disbelief, I shrug. โYouโre welcome,โ I tell her, pressing the tips of my fingers to my chin before thrusting my hand forward.
In response, she touches her middle finger to her chin, then thrusts it forward in a clear indication that she doesnโt appreciate the favor I was trying to do for her.
โYou hate blueberries,โ I say matter-of-factly before gobbling up the last few berries and returning to the work of making a sandwich.
โI do not hate blueberries,โ she tells me, her eyes blazing.
โSince when?โ I ask. โBecause I distinctly remember you calling them โsour little lie-berriesโ and saying youโd rather eat prunes than choke down a blueberry muffin.โ
โPrunes are actually a really good source of potassium and fiber,โ Blue interjects, but Fallon and I arenโt paying our know-it-all health-nut of a roommate any attention.
โI may have felt that way once,โ Fallon begrudgingly concedes, โbut people can changeโfeelings can change.โ
I hold her gaze. โPeople can change, huh? I didnโt know you were aware of that fact,โ I say, knowing full well that Iโm letting my frustration get the better of me.
Fallon doesnโt even blink. Sheโs got balls of steel and a spine to match. โOf course, people can change, Ollie,โ she says, her hands moving swiftly as the words leave her mouth. โBut that doesnโt always mean that they do.โ
The words hang heavily in the air between us until Blue clears his throat and brings us back to the here and now.
โIโm just gonna make my smoothie and go,โ he says, holding his hands up in mock surrender.
โMake it quick,โ I say.
โYou donโt need to leave,โ Fallon insists.
Blue laughs again, so I spare him a glance. โBelieve it or not, Iโve got better things to do than stand here catching strays,โ he says, before pressing the button on his blender.
โWhatโs a pretty little thing like you doinโ in a bar like this?โ I cock a brow, trying not to laugh as Casey slides onto the bar stool next to me.
I usually drink at the clubhouse, or at my club brothersโ bar, Whiskey Straight, but tonight I stopped in at the Whiskey Bar and Grill to pick up some food. Iโm nursing a beer while I wait.
She gives me a side eye. โReally, Pipes?โ
I snort. โGot you talkinโ, didnโt it?โ
I donโt need to look at her to know she just gave me an eye roll. I can see it a mile away.
โThe world makes sense again.โ
Every time I see this chick, my heart does this flutter thing. I also have a similar feeling in the pit of my stomach, and Iโve no idea what it means. Just the very sight of her, as if her sweet, floral perfume isnโt enough. Her golden blonde hair is halfway between her chin and her shoulders. She usually wears it tucked behind her ears, and occasionally in a short ponytail. Casey isnโt just pretty, sheโs a natural beauty. She rarely wears makeup, she doesnโt need it. Her skin is pale in winter, tan in summer, with a smattering of cute freckles across her cheeks and the bluest eyes Iโve ever seen. Her lips are cherry red and succulent. I imagine biting down on her bottom lip and stifle a groan.
Her utility belt does things to me. As does her shockingly hot, dark blue paramedic uniform. She wears it with a vest over the top. It shouldnโt work, but it does because every time I see her dressed like this, I want to strip her naked.
My dick hardens and I clear my throat, trying to keep my thoughts north of the border. โYou look like you need a drink. Rough day?โ
She sighs. โYou could say that.โ
โVodka soda?โ
She tilts her head. โYou know what I drink, or lucky guess?โ#mackenzyfox #mcromance #kindleunlimited #theauthoragency @theauthor.agency
When I was claimed by a monster who said my Strega witch blood was powerful, I didnโt believe him – because nothing shows you how powerless you are like a forced marriage to a vampire. Girls like me are cautionary tales, not the heroine of the story.
Then my mother walked out of the shadows and into Italy on a ray of light.
This time, her lessons lead to power instead of pain. All the vagueness of my sixth sense suddenly has a shapeโฆ and I can sculpt it into a weapon.
Carmine Montefiore is not my husband by choice. Heโs a vampire who scented me. Heโs a mafioso who kidnapped me. But like a girl with nothing to lose, I fell in love with the dark.
He put me in thrall when he took my blood.
I rewrote his heart when I found it waiting for me.
We need each other as much as we want each other.
To earn my freedom, I could master my magic and end the monster who made me fall for him, or defeat the most powerful monster of all.

The story of Carmine and Luna continues, and it doesnโt disappoint. The combination of mafia and paranormal is something you donโt want to miss, and this installment includes details on the characters that you will have more invested in them and their story.
Carmine will do whatever is necessary to keep Luna safe even it that means keeping her in his control. Learning about what he has endured that has shaped him into who he is today will give a deeper understanding of why he makes the choices he makes.
Luna may be under Carmineโs control, but her independence is fighting to emerge while she tries to adapt to her new surroundings and the changes it has made in her.
Intriguing characters, a unique storyline, hot chemistry and surprise you donโt see coming only leave you wanting more of this couple and needing to know what the future holds.

โWhere did you get this?โ I ask, trying not to sound like a suspicious douchebag. Iโm a possessive one instead.
Darcy rolls her lips together, shifting to face me. โOh, this?โ She lifts the bracelet between us. โThis is from Emmett Richards, the hot-as-fuck defenseman on your team. I woke up with him yesterday, and he gave it to me as a birthday gift.โ
โDonโt fuck with me, Darcy.โ
Sheโs on her back in seconds, and Iโm hovering over her, a caveman growl Iโve been fighting to suppress escaping my chest. Iโm tempted to slide inside her right now and demonstrate how Iโm the only man she needs.
Small hands rest on my shoulders as the bracelet slips down her arm.
โDid your dad get it for you?โ I ask softly. I know from Jack that she doesnโt have a relationship with him anymore. That doesnโt stop me from hoping the guy didnโt miss his daughterโs birthday.
โNo.โ She shakes her head, a subtle sadness dulling her eyes. โI havenโt spoken to him in months. The bracelet is from my mom. She bought it for my twenty-first birthday, and I wear it on special occasions.โ
Although I wouldnโt describe us as estranged, Iโm not especially close to my dad. Darcy might be right to keep Elliott out of her lifeโjust like Jack cut him out completely tooโbut that doesnโt mean there isnโt residual hurt.
โDo you miss him?โ I ask cautiously.
She peers up at me like she hasnโt been asked that in a while.
โThatโs a complicated question, Archer.โ
I settle down between her parted thighs. I know she can feel my hard cock as it presses into her. Casually, I run my fingers down her stomach, holding myself up with an elbow braced next to her shoulder. Weโre both completely naked, but that isnโt the most intimate part of this moment. I want to explore every part of Darcy, well beyond the conversations weโve previously shared.
โWeโve got the time.โ
She clears her throat and shifts beneath me. โMy dad is one of those people who always has an agenda with everything he does. When I was younger, I couldnโt see the games he played or the way he would emotionally attack Mum, not until I got older. Then, when Jack joined the Blades and met Kendra, Dad tried to come back into his life after he learned what my brother was earning and how much his girlfriendโs family was worth. Kendra told me all about it when I moved to Brooklyn, but Iโd already hated his guts anyway.โ She pokes her tongue into her cheek. โAnd I donโt hate anyone. Ever.โ
My blood boils on behalf of Jack and Darcy, two of the kindest people Iโve ever met. If they despise this guy, I can only hope we never cross paths.
โDid he hurt you?โ
Shaking her head again, she presses her lips into a thin line. โNo, never physically. Dad doesnโt need to get physical to cause hurt. He likes to weigh and measure people, and when he has a drink, the venom really starts spouting. He once told me Iโd walked away from a good relationship with Liam because of my ego.โ
โBut he cheated on you,โ I immediately fire back, my rage simmering.
โHe did, although Dad never saw it that way. He said Liam was going to have a great career in finance.โ She laughs darkly. โFunny, because thatโs what my dad doesโheโs a stockbroker in London.โ
I remember Jack telling me his dad worked in Canary Wharf. A place where some of my own investments are run. Heโd better not manage any of my offshore accounts.
โAfter Liam and I split, Jack admitted he could see more and more of Dad in Liamโs behaviors. Mum spent a lot of time detangling herself from Dadโs grasp, and Jack was afraid Iโd go down the same route. I once failed a test at universityโโ
I release a mock gasp, and she swats me on the chest, giggling.
โYes, Archer. Believe it or not, I did. Anyway, do you know what Liamโs reaction was?โ
I shake my head, already convinced Iโm not going to like it.
โHe told me not to worry because a womanโs place is really in the home and with the kids, not out earning money because he could take care of that. It was a carbon copy of what Dad used to say to Mum.โ
I canโt imagine Darcy ever accepting something like that from a guy. They do say love is blind.
When she looks up at me for a reaction, I know my jaw is clenched, molars grinding hard.
โThere were plenty of red flags I chose to ignore because Iโd invested so much time into the wrong person, but I didnโt want to feel like all of it was wasted, so I kept plowing ahead with him. I guess thatโs why now Iโm not keen to get into anything heavy. The next person I date, I want to be sure they wonโt screw me over.โ
My tongue burns with the need to tell her that Iโd never let her down. Then I consider the evidence of my past and what she has to go on.
โA womanโs place is wherever she wants to be.โ Theyโre the only words I can find in a sea of confessions I desperately want to profess. โNo one owns you or gets to tell you what to do with your life, Darcy. When a real man says, Youโre mine, itโs because he canโt stand the thought of living a day without you in his life. Not because youโre a possession he can show off to his friends. Youโre a treasure, not an accessory.โ
Sheโs baking her heart out. Heโs playing to win. Together, theyโre about to heat things upโon and off the field.
Liv Garnerโs cafรฉ is her safe haven, where she crafts mouthwatering pastries and dodges her motherโs endless criticism. But when her vengeful ex-fiancรฉ stirs up trouble, Livโs dream is suddenly on the line.

โจTEASER: SOMEHOW YOU KNEW by @harlowjamesauthor releasing July 10th! This will be a simultaneous release in Audio with the amazing narrators Erin Mallon and Brandon Francis!
I never imagined Iโd agree to an arranged marriage for over 5 million dollars.
Not to mention that the man Iโd be marrying is someone Iโd already met once before.
Gage Kingston waltzes into the meeting with the lawyer unaffectedโcocky, tattooed, and acting like he didnโt know who I was.
But after we agree weโd be stupid to walk away from that kind of money, we embark on a six month timeline to riches despite the animosity between us.
Now Iโm living with the man his aunt thought would be perfect for me while wondering if the woman was going insane before she died to think this was a good idea.
Then the first letter came.
Turns out Diane had a plan to get us to fall for each other while trying to make our marriage work.
Arguments turn to meaningful conversations.
Innocent brushes turn to lust-filled challenges.
And before I know it, weโre crossing every line we drew in the sand.
Did Diane somehow know that we were meant for each other before we figure it out for ourselves?
Or was jumping into a marriage with a man I barely knew one of the worst mistakes of my life?
To save his lost grandfather, one kid inventor must win a classified game of hide-and-seek.
Chase’s quiet life of fixing electronics, dumpster diving, and inventing shatters after Grandad vanishes. Now the boy will risk everything to reunite his family. When Grandad’s old team offers Chase a spot in a secret camouflage competition, he jumps at the opportunity, hiding the truth from family and teammates.
Accepting means facing deadly futuristic technology, mech-suited soldiers, and an out-of-control robotic seeker. But once he realizes this game is deadly, Chase must focus on surviving, losing hope he can save Grandad.
Burn Bag: The act of throwing all caution to the wind and burning down all previous plans.
Nothing in my life had worked out as expected.
I lost the woman I loved to another man, my father had been shot in front of me, and I nearly died in his grave when a sniper tried to take me out.
Suffice it to say, things could have been going better for me.
So, I tore up the game plan, went online, and found myself a wife.
Everything was finally coming up roses.
And then she lifted the veilโฆ
When I said I was burning down my old life, I didnโt really understand what that entailed.
But I laid it all on the line for this woman, and I wasnโt walking away for anything.
No matter how many times either of us ended up in the hospital.
I’m a stay at home mom that loves to read. Some of my favorite titles are Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Horatio Hornblower. I started writing when I was trying to come up with suggestions on ways I could help bring in some extra money. I came up with the idea that I could donate plasma because you could earn an extra $500/month. My husband responded with, “No. Find something else. Write a blog. Write a book.” I didn’t think I had anything to share on blog that a thousand other mothers hadn’t already thought of. I decided to take his challenge seriously and sat down to write my first book, Jack. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed writing. From there, the stories continued to flow and I haven’t been able to stop. I hope my readers enjoy my books as much as I enjoy writing them. Between reading, writing, and taking care of three small kids, my days are quite full.
