Lara is an ER doctor who is the caretaker in her family. When she canโt locate her sister and isnโt getting the answers she needs she knows that the one person who can help her is Calder even if it has been more than a decade since he has been in their lives. As they go undercover pretending to be in a relationship becomes even more complicated due to the relationship he had with her sister and how she has always felt about him.
This was an entertaining start to a new series and leaves us wanting the stories of Calderโs siblings. The suspense is intriguing, the surprises keep coming and the romance between them is undeniable despite all the challenges they face.
