❤️Review Trying to do the right thing resulted in a prison sentence for Cooper however he has served his time and has recently returned to Mustang Mountain. Riley appreciates the price that Cooper paid to help her, but the situation is complicated as he is also the father of her ex. She has feelings for him and when suspicious things begin happening in town she is determined to prove his innocence to the town and her ex.
Cooper’s reluctance to be with Riley is understandable as not only does he want to protect her, but he doesn’t want to fracture his relationship with his son any further. I enjoyed seeing their relationship develop as well as the healing with all the other relationships in his life.

“Do you really want to call a truce?” I nudged her with my leg. It would be nice if things could go back to the way they were before everything got so complicated.
