Eric Vail has always loved a challenge. After leaving the Navy, he mastered his passion for cooking. As the sous chef at Top, one of Dallas’s hottest restaurants, his skills are pushed to the limit every night. Unfortunately, his ultimate prize still eludes him. Server Deena Holmes is the sweetest thing he’s seen in forever, but she’s as distant as she is beautiful. When they’re put together in the same training class at the infamous club Sanctum, he knows this is his shot. And this former SEAL never misses.
A Woman Who Lost Her Taste for Love…
Deena thinks Eric is the most gorgeous man she’s ever seen, but her heart has been burned too many times before. She’s sworn off relationships for good and she can’t trust herself with a man that easy to fall in love with. She takes a spot as a trainee at Sanctum in the hopes of finding a safe place to explore and experiment. When she discovers her partner is the same chef she dreams about every night, Deena knows she may have bitten off more than she can chew.
A Perfect Recipe for Passion
While exploring the world of Sanctum, Eric and Deena find themselves learning about each other and finding an intimacy neither expected. But when the ghosts of her past resurface, old wounds are reopened. Can their newfound love survive when it’s put to the test?
🎧Review🎧 Due to her divorce Deena is not looking for love or a relationship and her faith in men has been severely compromised. She has decided that she wants to have exposure to the BDSM lifestyle and decide if it is the lifestyle she wants however she had concerns about Eric being her training Dom due to the attraction she has for him.
After his career in the Navy ended Eric found himself working as a chef at Top. He has been attracted to Deena, his co-worker, since he first saw her so when he is paired as her Dom he believes it will give him an opportunity to not only show her the life is for her but that he is as well.
Eric is so supportive and understanding as he helps Deena heal from her past and show her that she is strong in all areas of her life and not just her career. Sebastian York was a great choice to narrate this story as he brings out both the heat and emotion between the characters.
He’s the salty fisherman whose family owns miles of coastline…she’s the business-savvy realtor looking for oceanfront property to develop.
The coast of Maine may not be everybody’s dream place to live, but for me, it’s home. Miles and miles of shoreline have been in my family’s possession for well over a hundred years, and I have no intention of letting that change, either.
So when Stella Stewart, the sassy property developer, lands in town, ready to make an offer for the family property, she finds out fast that coming here from New York … well that was a wasted trip.
I don’t want her money; I just want her gone. No matter how much I enjoy looking at her.
But when back-to-back nor’easters ground all flights in and out of Maine, Stella suddenly ends up with no place to go besides my family’s Christmas celebration. And she has no place to stay—besides my house.
In my bed.
I may be the salty fisherman. But she’s just … salty.
At least I thought she was until I spent some time with her. Now, I’m not so sure. But I do know one thing … I’m suddenly not quite ready for her to leave town.
What to Expect:
Enemies to lovers Forced proximity Small town Lobster Fisherman “Just one time”
🐟Review🐟 Stella doesn’t have a lot of experience with family and Christmas is the season she would like to avoid. She now finds herself in Maine trying to convince Ridge, an irritated fisherman that he wants to sell some of his family’s land even though all previous attempts have failed.
Ridge wants nothing to do with selling his land or with Stella however fate by way of the weather had other ideas. As he finds himself having to spend time with her and including her in the holiday season will be surprising for them both.
The interactions between them are humorous, the attraction between them hot and I enjoyed seeing Stella realize what and who was missing from her life.

💜Review💜 Dred has overcome a difficult childhood and created a life for herself where she gets to fulfill her love of books by working as a librarian and she is best friends with Flip, a member of the Toronto Terror, and with the rest of the team as well. When everything she works for could be in jeopardy she agrees to a marriage of convenience not only for Connor but for his grandmother as well.
Connor’s upbringing couldn’t be more different than Connors’s, but his childhood was just as difficult, but his grandmother was always there for her. He would do anything for her and that includes pretending to be in a relationship with Dred even though it means that it could make his relationship with his teammates even more tenuous.
I enjoyed seeing Dred and Connor learn to trust each other with their secrets and their past. There is so much more to Connor than first appears and Dred is one of the few people to actually see past his demeanor to the man he is. Jason Clarke brings out the protector in Connor while Kat Auden shows us how strong and resilient Dred has always had to be.
Caleb Kelly has been my secret weakness since the day I moved to Sugar Brush, Wyoming.
I spend my days among the stacks as the town’s librarian and my nights serving drinks at Joy’s Elbow Room. It’s safe, predictable, and a little boring. The only thing that makes my pulse kick is when Caleb Kelly walks through the door and takes a seat at one of my tables.
Four years of stolen glances, watching him laugh with his family, listening to him talk about his son, and pretending he doesn’t unravel me just by saying my name. Alice.
Then one reckless night, I steal a kiss. And for one perfect, heart-stopping second, he kisses me back.
But the thing is, Caleb doesn’t date. He has his son, his ranch, and no room for anything—or anyone—else.
So I finally stop waiting, stop hoping, stop hiding. It’s way past time to begin living my life on my own terms.
Just as I start to move forward, trouble knocks me back. And when I need someone the most, Caleb is the one by my side again and again, standing between me and the worst of it. His steady, fierce presence is impossible to ignore.
I should know better than to keep falling for a man who told me he can’t give me more. I should walk away before I get hurt again.
It’s just that every time he shows up, every time he really sees me, every time he stays, my heart refuses to listen.
But letting him in might be the one thing I can’t come back from.

💚Review💚 Alice has had feelings for Caleb for a while even if he has never seen her as more than the town librarian and his waitress at the pub. Once kiss gives her hope that they could have something together however when that doesn’t materialize she realizes that she must push her feelings aside if she wants to have the future she wants and she isn’t about to accept less than the love she deserves.
Caleb is focused on two things which are the family ranch and his son Jesse. He has never seriously considered a relationship with anyone and that included Alice. When he realized what they could have together after the adrenaline his next emotion was anxiety, so he decides to back away. It is only when he realizes the impact that Alice has already had on his and his son’s lives that he realizes that some rewards are worth the risk.
Alice is a relatable character from the ways that she loves Caleb for who he is and the strength she has for knowing what she wants. At time Caleb can be exasperating but when it really matters he shows Alice that he is man for her.
I train horses, not broken men. That’s what I tell myself the day Bryce Raintree walks into my arena—cocky, bruised, and dragging his ego behind him like it’s been trampled in the dust. He’s a bull rider who’s lost his edge. His team sends him to me to get it back.
He doesn’t like being told what to do, especially not by a woman like me. But under all that attitude, there’s a storm brewing. And I can’t seem to walk away.
I’ve spent my life in the saddle, doing what needs to be done after losing our mom and stepping up on the ranch. I don’t fix cowboys. But maybe… I don’t have to. Maybe he’s not the only one who needs saving.
🎄Review🎄 Kat’s career in PR has been on an upward swing and that is a trend she wants to see continue. Before making the presentation to her potential client she decides to attend their dating event to get an inside track on how to approach the account. What she didn’t expect was to develop feelings for one of the other attendees and after the night they spent together to find out they were competitors.
After a couple of unsuccessful attempts to land new clients Grayson is determined to right the ship before it happens again. This is why he also finds himself attending the dating event, but meeting Kat wasn’t part of the plan. One unforgettable night and some forced proximity will have them deciding if they are meant to be fierce rivals or romantic lovers.
The interactions between them are humorous and the chemistry between them is hot. I enjoyed how Grayson encouraged Kat to open her heart to him and showed her she could trust him in every area of her life.
