Review

Julian is the drummer for Shaughnessy who after the destruction of his personal life is taking a sabbatical from both his life and his career in order to try and find some perspective on his life. Rather than it decreasing the pain he finds himself becoming more bitter and withdrawn until he is the recipient of a random act of kindness.

Charlotte is a social worker who is always willing to help others in need so when she sees what appears to be a homeless man with no wallet she quickly steps in to pay for his coffee. She wasn’t expecting gratitude but being polite shouldn’t be too much to ask.

After his initial belief that she was only doing it because she recognized him Julian is intrigued by Charlotte and likes the fact that she doesn’t know who he is. As they spend time together he realizes Charlotte is exactly what she seems with no ulterior motives, but will his past destroy what they could have together?

Although they may be opposites these two are perfect for each other and together make each other stronger.
