Dear Phillip,
In one moment life can change. In a blink of an eye. With
the click of a finger.
We’ve loved, we’ve fought, and we’ve won. You and I. We’ve
held on and on, and now it seems that fate demands we let go.
I thought that you’d be the death of me. Turns out that I
may be the death of you.
They taught me that if you love someone, you let them go.
They were wrong.
I let go—now, I’d do anything just to have you once more.
I’d do anything…for you.
**Disclaimer: If you have not read No One But You please be
aware that this is a prequel to Dorian’s HEA, this book does not end happily.

Alexandra Silva is
a lover of words and romance. She blames the classics and a nutty English
teacher for her obsession with books and fiction. Come rain or shine with
either coffee or wine in hand you can find her with her nose stuck in a book
and her head in the clouds. She lives in London outnumbered by her very loud
boys, with her very own hero and their two wild cats—Jack and Jill.

Review

This is an emotional story as we learn about Dory’s past and why she acted the way she did in No One But You. Dory and Quincy were best friends and it was through her that she met and fell in her love with her brother Philip. This is a story of young love when you think you are invincible and that you will always be together but sometimes life takes you in different directions and it is how you handle the changes in life that make you the person that you are.

There is no doubting the deep love that Dory and Phillip had for each other, but this book is an example of the old adage that sometimes things happen for a reason and it is part of a bigger plan. Emotionally heartbreaking but uplifting at the same time this story takes you on a journey you won’t soon forget.
