In life, you always learn one important lesson you’ll never forget.
For me, it was to never have hopes and dreams. They could shatter into a million pieces in a matter of seconds.
I’d lived by that one rule my entire life, until the day Harper and her little boy moved in next door. One look into her guarded eyes and a flame of hope was lit. Little did I know; her green eyes held more pain than my heart did.
Breaking through the fortified walls she’d erected around hers would cause me more agony than I’d ever imagined possible.
I didn’t know if two broken and bruised individuals could come together and create something beautiful out of nothing but shattered pieces.
Author of Romances filled with heart and heat – She wants to leave you with ALL the feels!
She likes her coffee big and strong and her chocolate sinfully dark.
She lives in a small town in South Africa, surrounded by bush and mountains. When she’s not writing, she is probably nose-deep in a book or busy being a wife and mommy to one sassy little girl. (She wouldn’t want her any other way.)
Review
After escaping her past Harper has worked hard for her new beginning however she knows that maintaining a low profile is a must as the consequences could be dire. She loves her job as the vet clinic, but she lets very few people close to her until they prove they can be trusted. She is attracted to her sexy neighbor Logan, but she knows it is in her best interest to stay away.
Logan is very attracted to his neighbor, but he knows that he should keep his distance as a woman like Harper would never be interested in a man like him once she found out about his past.
When circumstances lead Harper to Logan he is determined to show Harper that they are meant to be together. He is willing to be patient and give her time to know that he can be trusted but he is not about to just let her walk away.
These two are perfect together and with her son make the perfect family. They are real people with fears and insecurities but the obstacles in life have any only made them stronger. I look forward to the more of Willow Creek and the other Jackson brothers.
