About Fractured Honor:
An elite warrior struggling to find his place in the civilian world.
Weary from his years on the battlefield, SF Captain Beckett Hollister has returned home to Crimson Point to take over the family business for his dying father. But adjusting to life outside the military is harder than he imagined, and being back home forces him to confront things he’d rather not face. Including the one woman he shouldn’t want and can’t have—his best friend’s little sister.
A love that was always meant to be.
Town vet Sierra Buchanan has known Beckett her entire life. She’s crushed on him for years, but because of his relationship with her family, the stubborn man refuses to see her as more than the girl he grew up with. As tragedy brings them together, neither of them realizes that the sins of Beckett’s past have come home to haunt him. When Sierra becomes the target of his unforeseen enemy, Beckett must vanquish his demons to save her.

After the last mission that he and his Special Forces team were on went sideways Beckett resigned to return home to Crimson Point to take over the family business for his ailing father. As he adjusts to civilian life he also chooses to hire other vets that are trying to adjust as well so that they can all be there for each other. The only problem with his plans are the feelings he has for his best friend’s sister.
Sierra has had feelings for her brother’s best friend for years, but not only does he not appear to feel the same way but the way he acts arounds her it appears that he doesn’t want to be around her, and she is confused as to why.
As his father’s health continues to flounder Beckett starts to lean on Sierra for support. Once they realize that they both share the same feelings for each other they are unable to deny the chemistry between them but when his past finds them will they escape with their lives?
I liked how Sierra supported Beckett both with the feelings he had about his father’s health and his adjustment to civilian life and I also liked how once Beckett finally gave into his feelings he was determined to make her his. This is a slow burning romance with an element of suspense that doesn’t disappoint.
