Since the passing of her husband Annabelle has moved on with her life. She has a great group of friends, a stepdaughter she loves and her horses. The last thing she expected on a night out with the girls was to meet a man who raised feelings in her that she thought were gone forever.

Waylon has recently purchased the pub in town and from the moment he meets Annabelle he is drawn to her. He knows that they are meant to be and will be patient but determined until she realizes it as well.

This is a low drama and angst story about two people who are perfect for each other.

After a devastating loss Nessa and Adam may have to face the fact that the dreams they had for the future may not be possible. As they spend time with their family at their niece’s birthday party they realize all they have to be grateful for and all the people that love them. They aren’t the only ones dealing with a loss and the cliffhanger ending leaves you wanting more.

For a novella this story packed quite the emotional punch and it was great to catch up with the other characters as well.
