When his parents passed away he was 18 and Eli didn’t hesitate to become the guardian for his four younger sisters and manage the family business. Although he doesn’t regret keeping his family together now that two are in college and the other two are in high school, he is looking forward to the freedom he never got to experience when he was younger.

Sloane is a single mother to her four year old daughter Paige who is her life and although she may not have a lot of money but there is no shortage of love. When a storm leaves her with a leaky roof and no electricity, she heads to Eli’s house for a place to camp out.
