Eric works hard during the hockey season to ensure that he stays on top of his game so now that he has a little time off he was looking forward to some rest and relaxation but his family had other plans. He now finds himself not only guarding her body but pretending to be the man in her life to a friend from his school days, Alex, in order to help out the secret security company that his father and brother run.
Alex is a successful career women who has made rivals both personally and professionally. The competition in her field is cut throat but it is her ex who is making her and the baby she is carrying feel threatened. She knows that she needs help but maybe spending 24/7 with Eric wasn’t the best way to keep their relationship professional.
When you combine a fierce and independent women with a sexy yet sweet hockey player the sparks fly and they are electric. Adding in the witty banter and the suspense angle makes this story a winner for me.
