Title: Eric
Series: The Kingsbrier Quintuplets #1
Author: Jody Kaye
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Blurb
Born smack-dab in the middle of a wild set of quintuplets somehow Eric
became the level-headed one. As his four siblings fly the nest, Eric’s feet are
grounded in a plan to take over the family construction business. Goals.
Persistence. Patience. Those paid off when he went after the quiet girl of his
dreams… And someday down the line, Eric’s going to make Ginny his wife.
Ginny knows one thing: She loves Eric. His notoriety as one of the
infamous Kingsbrier Quintuplets or the fact that his granddaddy left each of
the quints more money than God? That means nothing because Ginny’s seen the
courage of an accepting boy who has given her life stability since her father
died. Yet, Ginny’s uncertain how they’ll manage to stay together when she
leaves for college. Will Eric still want her four years from now?
When Ginny’s forced to admit to the lengths she’s gone to keep Eric will
her deceit become the roadblock that tears them apart or the stepping stone to
a different life neither had imagined?

Eric may come from a wealthy family, but they are determined that the children will forge their own path before they inherit. Eric is the one Kingsbrier Quintuplet that is prepared to stay at home and work for the family business while Ginny, the girl that he loves, heads off to college.

Ginny loves Eric with all her heart and is worried about being away from him and maintaining a long distance relationship. When she makes a decision with far reaching consequences will it bring them together or tear them apart?

I really enjoyed watching Eric and Ginny’s relationship unfold and will be reading the rest of the series to see what happens with his siblings.

Drew has loved Brier since he was a teenager and he knows that it is the forever kind of love. He shows the selfless and understanding man he is when he doesn’t try to stop Brier from leaving as he only wanted her to be happy. Now that she is back he is determined to convince her that right next to him is where she belongs. One of the best parts of this series is the family aspect that continues to escalate in each story as well as the series.

close
to a decade.

Cris is a single father with a painful past and way too much guilt to allow Davleigh in his life especially since she is the boss’s daughter. Davleigh has loved Cris for years but believes that he will never see her as more than a friend. It will take a special friend to allow them to see that what they have in each other is something that is too special to be denied. Davleigh is a woman with hidden depths and was the perfect woman to help Cris heal from his past.

Author: Jody Kaye
Genre: Contemporary Romance

The only child of an oil mogul, Rose Kingsbrier should’ve had it all.
That changed the day her momma died, leaving her to live a solitary life in a

father’s attention, eventually finding it easier to become his source of grief
than to live in grief’s shadow. Convinced that she’s irresponsible, now Rose’s
father intends to marry her off. But she’s not letting him barter her away that
easily.

Ross Cavanaugh’s construction business is renovating the Kingsbrier
mansion and, before the job’s even started, he gets swept up in Rose’s schemes.
She’s a hot ticket and easy-going Ross enjoys their budding friendship, until
Rose proposes a marriage of convenience to solve her problem and provide Cavanaugh
Construction financial backing. Rose may not mind dragging her own reputation
through the mud, but Ross has worked too hard to be accused of fortune hunting.
When Rose gets herself in over her head, agreeing to her offer may be the only
way to save her.

After the passing of her mother Rose had everything that money could buy except for the love and respect of her father. Her worth to him comes down to ensuring that the man she marries will take over his business empire and refuses to consider that is capable of doing it herself.

Ross owns a construction company and finds himself working on Rose’s family home. He is drawn to her and after a harrowing incident they agree to a contract marriage, but will they be able to handle the emotions that go along with it?

I really enjoyed the strength that Rose showed and Ross was the kind of guy that any girl would be lucky to have.

Adam feels the burden of being the eldest sibling so when his plans for the future take an abrupt detour he doesn’t tell his family. He is now home for his sister’s wedding and he knows that he must come clean about his past and his future especially if he is going to have a real chance at claiming Temple, who stole a piece of his heart years ago.

This family has all the feels and this story is no exception.

Colton survived his years of service to return home and be injured in a freak accident that not only affected him physically but emotionally as well. His concerned family don’t believe that they are helping him so they hire Ginny as his physical therapist.

What starts out as sparks of animosity turns into sparks of a more potent kind as she refuses to back down and helps him regain his fighting spirit. I wish that this series didn’t have to end but it certainly ended on a high note.
