RIVERDALE meets INCEPTION in this twisty and unique Ya coming-of-age romance by Ginger Scott
We all have our identities.
Most of the time, they come from our circumstances. They’re made by others—shoes for us to walk in whether they fit or not.
But what if?
What if we could take off those shoes.
What if we could wear a different pair?
What if those boxes we put ourselves in are better…worse?
And what if, when we do…we’re trapped there for good?
They all call me Cowboy.
She’s the damsel who doesn’t need to be rescued.
And him…he’s the villain.
This is our story. And this is how we want it to be told.

This is a story that is a different experience than anything I have read before. It will push your limits and have you questioning what is truth, what is fiction and how everything will unfold.
We all remember the cliques from high school and how each group is like their own town and seldom interacted with those who weren’t in the same group and this story is centered around one person in each of these groups. The Cowboy is the star football player whose future has been mapped out since he was a child, the Damsel is always expected to make the right choices or at least what others deem to be the right choice and the Villain whose lifestyle never really gave him a chance to be anything different.
The characters are amazing, the storyline captivating, the twists unexpected but it is the emotional pull that remains with you long after you finish the story.
