Poppy and Gavin were teenagers when they met, and they forged a deep and enduring bond that couldn’t be broken by time, distance or events in their lives. They were both enduring less than idyllic childhoods but in each other they found acceptance, compassion and understanding until the day that Gavin was no longer in her life and she didn’t know why.
