Frankie has endured a horrendous past that no one should have to experience.    She changed from an outgoing child to one that trusted few people and although she never spoke of what occurred she did have her grandmother and her best friend for support.   When her grandmother passes away, she is left alone and having to face the demons of her past once again.

Dalton is the new Sheriff in town and the one person who when he looks at Frankie he actually sees her.    He realizes that her behavior and actions are not typical, and he is determined to help her and that means getting her to trust him with the truth.
