Review
Kaeden is an ex-Marine whose experience has left him jaded when it comes to both relying on trusting others. He has worked at Sutton Capital for the last two years and is tasked with organizing a retreat for the company which could lead to a promotion. The only caveat is that he must work as part of a team and not as an individual.
Joy is an employee of the Lodge where the retreat is being held. She is a woman with secrets who doesn’t allow many people close.
When Joy and Kaeden are required to work together to ensure the event goes off without a hitch. From their first meets the sparks on antagonism fly but it is only a matter of time before Kaeden realizes that there is much more to Joy than first appears and he will do anything to protect her and along the way he may just realize that friendship and love is a strength rather than a weakness.
