As children Macey and Lincoln were the best of friends and when they were in high school she thought he was her future but it wasn’t only the fact that he broke her heart it was how he did it.   A decade later she is attending college but when her family needs her she doesn’t hesitate to go home and assist but she wasn’t prepared to see Lincoln again.

Lincoln has a lot of regrets in his life and the way he treated Macey is one of them.   Now that she is back in town he wants and a second chance and to convince her that he isn’t the man she remembers and that if she gives him her heart he will protect it with everything he has.

There was no denying the love that Macey and Lincoln shared but Macey wasn’t about to just forgive and forget and Lincoln is certainly up to the challenge of proving to Macey that they have always belonged together.
