Anthony started writing years ago as a hobby, but it quickly turned into a passion. He first began publishing under the name, Kane Caldwell, but has since changed the name he will continue publishing under. He is the epitome of a country boy with jeans, t-shirt, hat (No, not a cowboy hat. Lol), scruffy face, and work boots on, driving his truck and definitely not a guy you’d picture writing romance. Anthony works in the construction business where he runs his own crew. He has two awesome boys, and an amazing woman that keeps him on the edge. Anthony resides in the south where the weather is warm but most times sweltering hot. During down time, he loves to be surrounded by family, friends, great food, or engrossed in a good book. And of course, putting his imagination to work, where reality and fantasy collide.
Arissa has decided to move to Summerville so that she can enjoy the more leisurely small town pace rather than the high pressured stress of where she was currently living. She was prepared for some adjustments, but nothing could have prepared her for Hank.
Hank is the Sheriff in town who would do anything for anyone in town. He is drawn to Arissa in a way he hadn’t expected but he is cautious about getting involved with her as he is uncertain if a permanent life in Summerville is what she really wants.
As the chemistry between them escalates so does the questions that Arissa has about Hank but once all the secrets are revealed will it bring them closer or tear them apart?
Not only are Arissa and Hank great characters but there is also a great cast of secondary characters that enhance the story as well. This story will keep you entertained until the last page with humor, heat and all the feels.
