As a child Lanie overcame a life changing experience with the help of her boisterous family who would do anything for her and each other. She is a successful lawyer who thrives on her need to maintain control on everything in her life but that is about to change when she agrees to help a boy who needs an advocate.

Brix is a doctor who endured a tragedy in his past and has been experiencing the world while he helps those who need it the most. He has recently returned to his hometown when he is asked to advocate for Asher, a child in the foster system who needs medical attention.

Lanie and Brix already know each other as their siblings are in a relationship, but they now find themselves working together for one little boy who will steal your heart. With the help of those they love and each other they will need to overcome the past so that they can be the family they are destined to be.

Meet S.E. Rose
S.E. Rose hails from the Washington D.C. area.  She currently resides with her husband, two children, and always at least two cats.  



While she works at a desk during the day, her evenings and weekends are devoted to writing and editing her romance novels.



She loves all things wine, coffee, tea and dark chocolate; that’s right, dark chocolate. 



In her spare time, she enjoys photography, traveling, going to concerts, and reading.
