About the Author:
M. O’Keefe can remember the exact moment her love of romance began–in seventh grade, when Mrs. Nelson handed her a worn paperback copy of The Thorn Birds. Review
Ronan and Poppy’s story continues, and it doesn’t disappoint. In this book we get to learn more about the puzzle that is Ronan and what shaped him into the man he is today. You would think this dark and dastardly character would be someone to avoid but he is proving to be Poppy’s champion. He is determined to keep her safe from the mafia war she finds herself in even if that means facing his past.
The evolution of Poppy’s character was wonderful to see. She is no longer the woman that lets others makes her decision but rather she is turning into a force to be reckoned with as her feisty and fiery side makes an appearance. As a result whenever Ronan and Poppy are together the sparks fly in the most delicious ways.
This story takes us on quite the ride which leads up to an astonishing cliffhanger that leaves us wanting more of these characters and their story.
