Thereās no halftime in hockey, but maybe thereās one in loveā¦
Drunk dialing your girlfriend to tell her that you didnāt really cheat is a bad idea–a lesson Seb Hunter learned the hard way. It was no surprise when she cut him completely out of her life. Now heās finally moved on, and heās looking forward to sophomore year at Moo U. Until his ex arrives on campus.
For goalie Faith Devereaux, cheating is a hard pass. She grew up knowing all too well how destructive infidelity can be. Sheās gotten over Seb and picked the college of her dreams. The fact that heās a student there will not be a problem. Hockey is her priority. Not guys, not dating, definitely not exes.
But when an exhibition game forces them into close proximity, it isnāt long before their old attraction flares. Regaining trust is hard, though, when the heart plays a good defensive game.
But when the goal is love, one more shot might be all they need.

Faith had been dating her boyfriend Seb for a few years until he left to attend college. The night that she received a call from him after he had a few drinks too many left her devastated even though what he was trying to tell her wasnāt what she was hearing. Due to her past, she believed his actions were unforgivable and she decided the only way she could deal with it was by never talking to him again.
Seb was hurt that Faith wouldnāt even talk to him but felt powerless to do anything until he finds out that not only are they are both attending the same university, but they are both playing hockey. Although the relationship between them ended the feelings between them havenāt but will this be their second chance or is the pain of the past too much to overcome?
Finding their way back to each other wasnāt without its setbacks as they fight to overcome not only their pasts but their less than idyllic childhoods as well.
